The new issue of A Magazine is out now, curated by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler (2008 CFDA Womenswear Designers of the Year and 2009 CFDA Fashion Awards Accessory Designers of the Year). At their launch party last week, the cool kids of New York City turned out to support the dynamic duo’s curatorial vision as it gave way to a glimpse of the new American creative landscape. Several contributors to their Issue #9 are part of BOMB Magazine’s legendary extended family: Bruce Weber, Jimmy DeSana, Kalup Linzy, Laurie Simmons, Whitfield Lovell, demonstrating once again how the printed page is still a striking platform for the artistic process.
