Decisions, Decisions

Still from Sufjan Stevens's RE-IMAGINING THE BQE.

Danielle Dutton’s S P R A W L is out today from Siglio. Listen to her read an excerpt on BOMBsite.

Rock Moody reads from his new novel, The Four Fingers of Death, at (BOMB neighbor!!) Greenlight Books on 8/24 and then performs songs in Bryant Park on 8/25 at lunchtime. Here’s an interview from ages ago, and a video of him performing with his band.

This week is your last chance to check out Four Projects at Haunch of Venison, featuring work by Doug Argue, Bill Fontana, Les Rogers, and a neon sculpture by Alexandra Grant based on a Jorge Volpi novel.

Sufjan Stevens has a new EP out, and was trending on Twitter here in NYC for a while on Friday afternoon.

DJ / Rupture will be spinning his stuff at the Whitney along with Tanlines on 8/27.

Saturday you’ll have a tough choice to make: White Out with Thurston Moore at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, or the witchy men of Rangda at Cake Shop? One thing’s certain: either way you’ll be rocking out.

Speaking of rocking out (well, maybe more like a melancholic swaying back and forth), here’s a new Antony video:

Also, please don’t forget, we’ll be on air this Sunday (like we are every Sunday) 11-noon on Newtown Radio.
